From £4.58 an Hour to Building One of the UK’s Leading Preloved Stone Island and C.P. Company Stores

In the Begining

2020 was a year none of us will forget. For me, it was the year everything changed — not just for the world, but for my future. I was 16 years old, working at Sports Direct for £4.58 an hour. I’d bring home a few hundred quid a month, which usually disappeared on the sort of stuff any 16-year-old would blow their first wages on.

Around that time, like a lot of teenagers, I started developing a real interest in fashion — especially premium brands like Stone Island and C.P. Company. The problem? Retail prices were outrageous. Spending £200+ on a jumper just wasn’t realistic. But I wanted the look, the quality, the style — without draining my entire bank account.

Then came lockdown. Shops shut, schools closed, and I suddenly had way too much time on my hands. I was furloughed, earning money for doing nothing, which to a 16-year-old felt like winning the lottery. I spent my days gaming, enjoying the sunshine — and scrolling through clothing websites.

Eventually, I landed a job at a local essential store, so I was bringing in money from two jobs. Around £600 a month — a fortune at the time. I started saving and treated myself to my first Stone Island jumper, but I didn’t buy it new. I found it second hand on eBay for £80 — and honestly, it felt like the best thing in the world.

In the Middle

Then something clicked. A month later, I sold that same jumper for £110. I’d worn it, enjoyed it, and still made a profit. That’s when it hit me: I could keep doing this. Buy smart. Sell smart. Make a bit of money. I wasn’t just fuelling my own wardrobe — I was building something.

What started as flipping a few jumpers turned into a passion project — and then into a real business. I began carefully sourcing Stone Island and C.P. Company pieces, keeping an eye on trends, pricing, and condition. The goal was simple: make high-quality designer clothing accessible to more people, without the insane retail prices.

Then in 2023, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. Much to my parents’ dismay — and despite their very best efforts to talk me out of it — I quit my job to pursue this business full-time. I walked away from stability, risked everything I had, and backed myself to build something bigger. I believed in it that much.

Fast forward almost six years, and today I run one of the UK’s leading stores for preloved Stone Island and C.P. Company clothing. We’ve grown from a teenager’s side hustle into a trusted name — built on fairness, quality, and the belief that great fashion shouldn’t break the bank.

We believe you should be able to buy amazing clothing, wear it with pride, and sell it on again — maybe even for more than you paid. Because times are tough, and your style shouldn’t have to suffer for it.
